Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

We offer a 6-months internship starting ASAP, within Discovery / Eurosport organization, in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, at Eurosport international HQ. 

The France Ad Sales project leader junior supports the national ad sales representatives who sell the advertising spaces of Eurosport and Discovery branded platforms (TV-Web-Mobile-OTT). Being at the heart of the sales process, the final goal of this middle office position is to drive and optimize the global ad revenue on the French market.

He/She focuses its efforts on pushing key info to sales (editorial new initiatives, marketing, rights, communication projects, research data…), supporting the creation of advertising products around the editorial contents available on air and online, coordinating internal teams to develop bespoke solutions on Eurosport and Discovery channels and their respective digital platforms, Eurosport.fr including Rugbyrama website as well as Discovery channels’ websites.

Duties:

Reporting directly to the Brand Solutions department, the Jr France Ad Sales project leader junior in charge of the French market, will support several sales teams and central internal departments (International Ad Sales – IAS, Rights, Programming, Communication, Research, Marketing…).

Main point of entry for French sales requests, he/she will:

  • Push all offers and business opportunities (TV-WEB-Mobile) mostly based on Sporting events coverage (e.g. Roland GarrosCoupe de France de football,MotoGP, tour des stations…): inform sales teams about new sponsorship packages, new pan and national tv rights / original program, new sponsors signature and any new opportunity, along with supporting tools and data. 
    Track and report activities to drive and maximise the revenues.
  • Pull briefs and develop creative special ads operations on all platforms in coordination with IAS departments, from innovative editorial branded integration developed together with editorial teams, to disruptive ad formats.
  • Coordinate teams to maximize national ad sales revenue, ensure the implementation of campaigns, optimize a seamless communication between Discovery, partners and the representative, guarantee the respect of deals constraints and laws, and report revenues and activities.
  • Manage transversal projects upon requests.

Requirements:

You are a student in one of the top French Business Schools, you want to get a 6-months experience within an international company.

Fluent in French and English, you also have proficient skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

Working as a sales support, the candidate must be very solutions oriented, demonstrate a clear entrepreneurial state of mind. Autonomous and available, he/she has self-confidence and creative mind-set. 
The position requires abilities to convince, manage transversal teams, innovate, negotiate and to compromise.

The ideal candidate has experiences within the advertising business (media buyer network, advertiser’s communication dpt., ad sales house, brand content team…).
You are a digital native, sports fanatic and a team player.
