The role of the Education Programme Coordinator is to help the National Associations Development Unit organise the different education programmes and research activities that UEFA provides for its members and other stakeholders, and to coordinate senior executive and specialist programmes.



  • Helping to deliver personal development programmes to the staff of UEFA's 55 member associations and stakeholders, and coordinating all activities relating to the Executive Master in European Sport Governance (MESGO) and the UEFA Football Law Programme (UEFA FLP);
  • Assisting with the development and coordination of new programmes and tailor-made education initiatives for UEFA's 55 member associations and other stakeholders;
  • Helping to adapt existing education programmes to new target audiences, e.g. other football confederations;
  • Coordinating the external experts and specialists involved in education programmes and initiatives implemented by UEFA;
  • Providing general assistance to the Senior Education and Research Manager and other colleagues in the National Associations Development Unit;
  • Helping the academic partners of MESGO and the UEFA Football Law Programme (UEFA FLP) to organise and promote the respective programmes and acting as their main contact person at UEFA;
  • Maintaining excellent relations with the other sports partners of MESGO and helping to establish further partnerships;
  • Maintaining excellent relations with the MESGO alumni and acting as their main contact person at UEFA;
  • Attending all of the MESGO and UEFA FLP programme sessions and helping to ensure their smooth delivery;
  • Helping to prepare sessions for the UEFA Executive Master for International Players (UEFA MIP).


Experience required:

  • from 3 to 5 years experience in organising seminars or other events
  • from 3 to 5 years experience as a research and/or teaching assistant at a university, business school or research centre would be an asset


  • Masters in sport management (or equivalent) would be an asset


  • English / Proficient
  • French / Proficient

Additional requirements:

  • MS Office / Advanced
  • A strong interest in football
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 10 weeks abroad each year)
  • Interest in and knowledge of new technologies and social media
  • A background in legal and/or public affairs would be an asset
